I am not a professional nor an expert in Rebutia and Sulcorebutia taxonomy. Any help with ID and spelling are always welcome. To up-date my list I've been using many books, journals, catalogs and other web-sites. It's been helpful, but I have more work to do. I only ship to the main 48 States. We do ship in the winter and we offer 72+ hour heat packs for $4.00 each. No international shipping. Please read the front page for ordering information.

Note: I've been collecting and growing Sulcorebutia and Rebutia for over 35 years and have found that it's hard to keep up with the name changes. So I must say I do the best I can with the names. The plants list below where propagated from our old collection plants. Hope you enjoy growing Sulcorebutia and Rebutia as much as I do!

 Rebutia

Rebutia aureispina lg - Propagated from our old large collection plants. Is one of the several forms of the very variable Rebutia deminuta which form a complex of related taxon. It is still unclear whether this variable complex is one or several species. There is so much variation that most authors choose to lump them together. Rebutia aureispina distingushes from the standard Rebutia deminuta in that it has stronger shaggy stiff yellowish-brown spines. Bolivia. Growing in 4 1/2" pots. 2 @ $15.00 each.

Rebutia aureispina m - Propagated from our old large collection plants. Bolivia. Growing in 3 1/2" pots. 4 @ $15.00 each.

Rebutia fabrisii ssp. aureiflora sm -  Rebutia fabrisii var. aureiflora is a local or morphological form of Rebutia fabrisii with golden yellow flowers instead of orange or red, all the other characteristics are identical, namely size and form of stems, spines, form and dimension of flowers, fruit, etc. This prove, that it is impossible to differentiate between these taxa and var. aureiflora should be fully synonymized with Rebutia fabrisii. Argentina. Growing in a 2.75" pot. 4 @ $10.00.

Rebutia fiebrigii ssp. flavistyla m -  Rebutia flavistila is one of the many geographical forms of the extremely variable Rebutia fiebrigii with glassy-white, silky, short spines and light green tubercles thickly covering the body. It produces vibrant orange-red flowers with distinctive yellow (Latin = flavus) filaments and pistil (hence the name). Bolivia. Growing in 3 1/2" pots. 1 in stock @ $13.00 each

Rebutia fiebrigii ssp. muscula sm - Also know as Rebutia muscula. Propagated from our old large collection plants. Clumping. Orange flowers. Bolivia. Growing in 2.75" pots. 5 @ $10.00 each.

Rebutia heliosa ssp condorensis sm - Propagated from our old large collection plants. is a small clumping cactus with very short spines arranged on globes so that it looks like orbs covered with small, white spiders. It readily forms a clustering mound. The variety “condorensis” specifically describes the clones of the species with dark red flowers, and larger heads. Bolivia. Growing in 2.75" pots. 2 @ $13.00 each.

Rebutia heliosa ssp. teresae m -  Propagated from our old large collection plants. Is merely a long-spined form of Rebutia heliosa. The flowers are more intensely red-orange with a pinkish blush to the outer tepals. White spines & brownish areoles make this plant very attractive even when not in bloom. Bolivia. Growing in 3 1/2"  pots. 1 @ $15.00 each

Rebutia krainziana inermis sm -  Clumping globular cactus, up to 5 cm in diameter, and up to 7 cm tall. It can slowly form clumps. The specially notable characteristics of this cactus is its green naked stem that will turn a lovely purple tinge in full sun. But the most peculiar trait of this plant are the vestigial leaves subtending the small areoles on each tubercle. This is an ancestral trait not manifested in the normal plant. This trait is revealed thanks to a mutation that permits this odd cultivar to show the characteristic of bearing leaves, reminding us of an ancient era when its cacti ancestors were normal leafed plants. Propagated from our old large collection plants. Nursery origin. Growing in 2.75" pots. 5 @ $15.00 each.

Rebutia 'Peach Melba' sm - I obtained five grafted Rebutia from Miles 2 Go decades ago. He told me they where hybrids and named for the color of the flowers. This is the one I saved for a stock plant. Propagated from our old large collection plants. Nursery origin. Growing in 2.75" pots. 5 @ $13.00 each

Rebutia pygmaea ssp elegantia sm - Is a very small clumping species, widespread and extremely variable that has received numerous unnecessary names. Some of its variable forms don't really look like the same species. From the basal parts of the stem, widely funnel-shaped about 20-30 mm long and 25-35 mm wide usually salmon pink, however the flowers of this species and its varieties (forms?) vary a lot and range from from white to pink, red, salmon and orange. Buds with few black scales with woolly funnel-shaped, pale pink inside. Propagated from our old large collection plants. Bolivia. Growing in 2.75" pots. 2 @ $13.00 each.

Rebutia steinbachii ssp. bicolosispina sm - Its stems are almost completely concealed by fine silvery white and dark-reddish or mahogany colored spines. Bright pink to light purple, numerous in a ring at the base of the plant.Propagated from our old large collection plants. Bolivia  Growing in 2.75" pots. 2 @ $13.00 each.

Sulcorebutia

Sulcorebutia arenacea sm  - Is a choice solitary user-friendly plant, will clump with age, with perfectly neat, symmetrical pectinate spination and profuse yellowish orange flowers. This cactus is indeed beautiful even without its blooms. Spines are minutely pubescent whitish yellowish, amber or tan smooth, pectinate held tightly that give a sandy effect.  Propagated from our old large collection plant. Growing in 2.75" pots. 5 @ $10.00 each.

Sulcorebutia candiae lg - Propagated from our old large collection plants. Bright green body with cream colored spines. Clumping. One of the many forms of Sulcorebutia cardiae. Bright pink flowers. Bolivia. Growing in 4 1/2" pots. 1 @ $15.00.

Sulcorebutia naunacaensis BB0397 sm - Propagated from our old large collection plants. Growing in 2.75" pots. 3 @ $13.00 each.

Sulcorebutia pulchra ssp longspina sm - Propagated from our old large collection plants. Growing in 2.75" pots. 3 @ $15.00 each.

Sulcorebutia rauschii forma violacidermis 'Gold Spines' sm - It is a miniature clustering cactus, clumps of many purple heads with very short gold spines form of a fishbone. Flowers are bright magenta. Propagated from our old large collection plants. Bolivia. Growing in 2.75" pots. 5 @ $15.00 each.

Sulcorebutia santiaginiensis HBG 5227 sm - Despite the rather tortured taxonomic history of the dwarf globular cacti of South America, there are many very choice collectible plants among them. Sulcorebutia santiaginiensis is one of these, with tightly appressed, interlacing, radial spines. These emerge from the elongate, grooved areoles that are the inspiration for the generic name, Sulco- meaning grooved, and rebut for Pierre Rebut (1830-1898), French vine-grower and owner of a succulent nursery Chazay d’Azergues near Lyon. Coupled with the large, prolifically produced, magenta flowers, these are imminently show-worthy plants, especially in May, and occasionally during surrounding months. Spine color for this species is typically pale yellow. Growing in 2.75" pots. 3 @ $13.00 each.
